Abstract:With the rapid development of educational technology,the popularization of smart education has brought many conven? iences to teaching,but it has led to some university teachers feeling challenged by their traditional role values and experiencing confu? sion in role identity. The main manifestation is that intelligent empowerment leads the role of university teachers to evolve towards di? versification,technological dependence promotes profound changes in the role of university teachers,and multiple expectations affect the shaping of the role of university teachers. The root cause lies in the lagging educational concept of university teachers, which leads to unclear role goals and values, technological integration challenges that lead to a lack of intelligent literacy in roles, and lagging evalua? tion systems that result in insufficient motivation for role transformation. College teachers are currently facing a dilemma of role identity woven together by intelligence empowerment, technological dependence, and multiple expectations. They urgently need to reposition their role values, clarify their responsibility boundaries, and achieve harmonious personal and professional development through self re? flection, professional growth, and external support.
