Abstract:Exploring the ideological and political elements of college history courses has profound significance, which can deepen the connotation of ideological and political education, promote the comprehensive development of students, enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education, and promote the integration of ideological and political education with professional education. Cour? ses in the field of intellectual history have the characteristics of combining historical and speculative elements, interweaving interdisci? plinary and comprehensive aspects, emphasizing both humanistic and practical aspects, and combining understanding and interpreta? tion. According to the spirit of the“Guidelines for the Construction of Ideological and Political Education Curriculum in Higher Educa? tion”and the value guiding attributes of ideological and political education curriculum, taking the core, function, status, and content of ideological history courses as the starting point, the ideological and political elements in ideological history courses are modularized into five major areas: ideal beliefs and value pursuits, scientific spirit and academic attitude, systematic and critical thinking, disciplinary emotions and social missions, moral qualities and personality habits. By systematizing course objectives and content, leveraging disci? plinary characteristics to enhance professional education, and combining practical problems with innovative teaching models and meth? ods, the organic integration of curriculum and ideological and political education can be achieved.
