Abstract:In the new era, university aesthetic education shoulders an important historical mission and plays a leading role in pro? moting the aesthetic literacy of the whole society. In addition to the general characteristics of aesthetic education, university aesthetic education also possesses more distinct moral cultivation attributes, the aim of which is human nature purification. Compared to social aesthetic education and aesthetic education in primary and secondary schools, university aesthetic education is more demonstrative, sys? tematic, and sustainable. It effectively reverses the “lack of sensibility” in contemporary education, which constitutes the human na? ture guarantee for the integration of aesthetics and morality in colleges and universities. In terms of the implementation strategies for u? niversity aesthetic education, the overarching principle is “immersion”, relying on public art courses, outstanding traditional culture, and poetic thinking to cultivate general aesthetic appreciation, sense of responsibility, and the pursuit of pleasure, thus providing a guarantee for the improvement of aesthetic literacy and the cultivation of innovative consciousness throughout society.
