Abstract:At present,young graduate tutors have gradually become the backbone of postgraduate education,however,there is lit- tle research on the guidance abilities and its guarantee measures. This research adopts a qualitative research method,through the three - level coding analysis of the interview data of 21 young graduate tutors in domestic universities,the theoretical model of young gradu- ate tutors’guidance ability and its guarantee measures is constructed. This model includes 10 main categories,23 sub - categories and 56 initial concepts,which can fully reflect the various elements contained in the current young graduate tutors’guidance ability and guarantee measures. Combined with the content of the original sentences in the interview,the internal elements of the model are further explained in detail,and based on the perspectives of tutor category,subject category and guidance period,a comparative analysis is made on the cognitive differences of young graduate tutors,and finally policy implications are put forward. This research not only enri- ches the theoretical research on the guidance ability and guarantee measures of young tutors,but also points out the specific direction for how to improve the guidance ability of young tutors and cultivate the team of young graduate tutors in practice.
