“Epidemic”has made the traditional teaching model unable to adapt to the changes of the times. The wide range of on- line learning poses a challenge to TCM teaching. Period of big data has provided new opportunities and challenges for the development of traditional Chinese medicine. Connect course teaching with TCM data center,combine big data platform with modern information technology,extract effective data,conduct data mining and analysis,and construct systematic teaching platform. The teaching platform is applied to the teaching of TCM diagnostics by modern teaching mode and intelligent teaching tools,and the traditional teaching mode is changed. The classroom teaching mode of TCM diagnostics in TCM colleges in the era of big data is updated and the teaching effec- tiveness is improved.
