The Fifth Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee put forward the important instruction of“enhancing the a- daptability of vocational education”. The key to enhance the adaptability of vocational education is to promote the coordinated develop- ment of specialty construction and regional industrial pattern. Based on the background of“One Core - One Belt - One District”indus- trial layout,starting from the practical dilemma of Guangdong Higher Vocational Specialty Construction and industrial integration devel- opment,this paper puts forward strategies,paths and guarantee mechanisms to enhance the adaptability of specialty and industry from the perspectives of system construction,organization guarantee and sustainable development,so as to cultivate high - quality technical talents covering the development needs of various industries,provide important human resources support and technological accumulation of the high - quality development of regional economy,transform the technological innovation of higher vocational colleges into regional industrial competitiveness,and promote the comprehensive and coordinated development of Guangdong’s regional economy.
