Abstract:The dispute between teacher education and academic nature of teacher education in normal universities is a basic and old problem that accompanies the movement of“reform from normal universities to universities”. The reason for this is mainly because the focus of the debate between teacher education and academic education is mostly on people’s understanding of the professional edu- cation of teachers in higher normal education,while ignoring the logical connection between the inherent attributes of teacher education and academic education. The independence,basicity of teaching and learning,the systematic and advanced nature of academic disci- plines constitute the inherent difference between teacher - oriented and academic nature. To this end,through in - depth analysis of the actual representation and essence of the dispute between teacher - training and academic in normal universities,it is proposed that the inevitability of the dispute between teacher - training and academic should be correctly understood,and the theoretical basis for the dis- pute between teacher - training and academic should be further clarified; Secondly,at the management level,we should focus on the in - depth integration of teacher - oriented and academic content,and build a three - dimensional and compound talent management mod- el with categorized training and unified management; finally,at the evaluation level,we should take care of the multi - dimensional in- novation of academic and teaching academic evaluation standards. Establish a teacher quality evaluation mechanism that supports disci- plines and scientific research back - feeding teaching.
