The integration of information technology into ideological and political course in universities is a main trend of teaching innovation to optimize the important functions and values of this course. Its appropriateness and effectiveness need to be reviewed from the four dimensions,namely,clarifying integration goals,clarifying integration principles,integration integration conditions,and revie- wing integration efficiency. With the perspective of“objectives - principles - conditions - efficiency”,an important dimension for re- viewing and thinking about the integration,some aspects can be effectively examined,like the unity of content and form of information technology and college ideological and political courses ,and the combination of technical carriers and ideological guidance. This, therefore,can boost high - quality development of ideological and political course in universities.
