Abstract:Profit making or non - profit classified management in private colleges and universities is both an opportunity and a chal- lenge to the construction of teachers in private colleges and universities. Compared with the strong public colleges and universities, there are still many problems in the construction of teachers in private colleges and universities in China,such as the“slow growth”of young teachers,and the“shock”and“whole - pot”recruitment mode adopted by colleges and universities in order to meet the assess- ment and evaluation. Therefore,the construction of teachers in private colleges and universities should be optimized in structure,im- proved in quality,transformed in orientation and coordinated in management. In terms of policy suggestions,the orientation of policy objectives should be clearer,the content of the policy should be constantly improved,and the implementation of the policy should pay attention to feasibility,so as to promote the sound and orderly development of teachers in private colleges and universities.
