The traditional financial education is challenged by new technologies and the industrial revolution. New financial educa- tion reform is an important component of the new Liberal Arts and the goal is to train future - oriented financial talents with high quali- ty. New financial education has six characteristics,that is,interdisciplinary,omni - political directional,information - based teaching methods,and teacher’s role diversification,integrated education of industry and university,and training socialization. The implemen- tation of the new financial education reform needs to start from the six aspects of“digital thinking - professional structure - teacher abil- ity - curriculum system - teaching form - quality improvement”,focus on the cultivation of macro - thinking,computational thinking, and innovative thinking capabilities of new financial talents,and build a“professional + technology + mathematics”compound knowl- edge structure. Finally,the core competitiveness training of new financial talents is used as a case to explain the connotation of the new financial education reform.
