As the main body of educational activities,the role of teachers and students in classroom teaching affects the nature and development of teacher - student relationship. It is undeniable that there are some problems in the traditional teacher - student relation- ship in the specific context,which are mainly manifested in the unidirectional subject of teacher - student rights and the unbalanced power structure between them,the lack of equal dialogue between teachers and students,the prominent teaching conflict,the unbal- anced role orientation between teachers and students,the unequal communication between teachers and students,the single teaching method and the lack of effective communication between teachers and students. It is necessary to reconstruct the relationship from the perspective of rights,the ways include realizing the two - way subject of teachers’and students’rights,balancing their power struc- ture,advocating equal dialogue between teachers and students,resolving teaching conflicts,re - orientating the role of teachers and students,building democratic and equal teacher - student relationship,exploring diversified teaching methods,promoting the exchange and interaction between teachers and students.
