Abstract:Independent colleges have become a significant part in the new period of China’s higher education to cultivate applied talents. The development of independent colleges depends on a combination of factors,in which the collaborative education between colleges and local governments plays a key role. By research on the value and connotation of the collaborative education between colle- ges and local governments,it is made clear that in the transitional development of independent colleges,the key elements that drive the collaborative education model are mainly value orientation,educational objectives,course teaching,teachers,culture and environ- ment. This paper puts forward the path to realize the innovation of the collaborative education,which includes fostering the concept of “double - subject”collaborative education,constructing the“double - classroom”practical teaching mode,building the“double - qualified”teaching faculty,and establishing the“double - engine”platform of cultural integration.
