As the only journal of higher education assessment collected by SSCI,the Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education has a great academic reputation in the world. The study analyzes 692 papers of this journal which published in the recent ten years u- sing CiteSpace software to research its high - impact author groups,research hotspots,knowledge bases and frontiers. The results show the international reputation of higher education evaluation researchers in China is gradually expanding; the research of international higher education evaluation pays more attention to students involvement in the evaluation,the feedback of the evaluation,and the as- sessment of teaching and learning. Student evaluation of teaching and evaluation design will be the research frontier of international higher education evaluation in the future.
