Abstract:The healthy development of higher education is inseparable from the guidance of education evaluation. At present,high- er education evaluation has taken an unreasonable orientation choice. As for the evaluation of students’learning effects,academic per- formance is regarded as the only indicator; When it comes to college education quality evaluation,the number of the students,who go for further education in a higher level,is the only factor to be included; When introducing outstanding talents,their diploma can almost become the decisive factor; In the case of teaching effectiveness,paper and dissertation are the most important criterion. In the evalua- tion of high - level talents,the honorary title is always thought highly of. Therefore,higher education institutions should thoroughly un- derstand the real intention of the Central Government,establish a more scientific and rational evaluation orientation and promote the balanced and orderly development of higher education.
