Through the statistical analysis on papers reproduced by replicated journal materials of“Higher Education”of Social Sciences of RUC in 2018,some characteristics have been found,that is,the reprinted papers are with various sources; most of the first authors are from college and universities; and the trend of higher education research cooperation is strengthened gradually. The hot top- ics of higher education research mainly focus on four aspects: the“double first - class”construction,higher education governance, management of university teachers,the quality of undergraduate talents training. In the future,higher education research will further focus on such aspects as the performance evaluation system of the“double - class”construction,the internal governance of universities with its focus on the downward shift of the corer of power,the basic theory of first - class undergraduate education and teaching reform, and the review and reflection on the reform and development of higher education in the 70th anniversary of new China.
