New Engineering Discipline is a new paradigm of engineering education,which designates engineering education's para- digm reconstruction from technology and science to engineering,and provide new driving forces and choices in ideas,structures,mod- els,qualities and systems for local polytechnic universities and colleges'transformation and development. During the process of utilizing the new engineering strategic opportunities,it's necessary for the leading cadres led by the secretary and president to focus on the new engineering discipline construction,to conduct actively and responsibly in ideological understanding,teaching staff construction,inter- nal governance or other aspects.
