The Columbia Global Center of Columbia University in the United States and the Erasmus Mundus Programme in the Eu- ropean Union are the new models of internationalization of higher education since the beginning of 21st century and they have made pos- itive contributions to the internationalization of higher education in the form of education and teaching,cooperative research or“window plan”. They have the characteristics of integrating resources,relying on cooperation and laying particular emphasis on each other in or- der to achieve the integration of teaching and research,alumni associations and other issues and to achieve the new development of higher education internationalization and maximize the effect. So,the universities and colleges in China should learn and refer to their ’experience,promote their own international affairs orderly based on their own actual situation and characteristics.
