Civil - military integrating education is an important way for the United States to train and transport high - quality mili- tary personnel to the army by relying on ordinary colleges and universities. It provides talent support and intellectual guarantee for the integrated development of American economic construction and national defense construction. By combing and analyzing the history of civil - military integrating education in the United States in the last 200 years,we could find that the value orientation of civil - military integrating education are“warrior army”,“civil - military”,“continuous improvement”and“multivariate management”. And these value orientations have gone through three stages of logical evolution progress,namely,the formative period ( founding America) ,the establishment period( enriching America) and the strengthening period ( strengthening America) . The experience of civil - military in- tegrating education in America is of great significance to the civil - military integrating education in China in the new era.
