The expansion of college ideological and political education determines its ability to provide guidance and service for students in more channels,and it is the key to enhancement of the college ideological and political education quality today. Firstly,the article elaborates the necessity to expand the carrier of college ideological and political education. At the same time,it analyzes the car- rier construction at home and abroad,and reflects three deficiencies in the carrier construction,and finally explores the development path to expand the education carrier,which shall be conducted from three aspects: development of campus activity carrier,construction and application of mass media carrier and the carrier of campus culture.
