Abstract:The main task of tertiary education modernization aims at the improvement of the quality of teaching and learning. Re- search indicates the construction of professional learning communities definitely enhances the current education development. Although a large amount of researches about professional learning communities in some scientific fields has already been conducted in foreign countries,empirical studies for university foreign language teachers in China has been in the preliminary stage. Therefore,the thesis aims to analyze the integration of international education on the basis of the proposition,generalization,development and the function of the professional learning communities concepts. The thesis also aims to analyze the existing problems,alternative methods and current research outcome in terms of the construction of professional learning communities of university foreign language teachers on the back- ground of the reform of higher education institutions and revolution in“Internet + ”technology in China.
