The cultivation of college students’entrepreneurial ability,which is related to the development process of“mass entre- preneurship and innovation”,affects the development trend of our country’s social economy and culture. This paper discussed the practice background,shortcomings and problems of the“mass entrepreneurship and innovation”theory in the development of college students’entrepreneurial ability so as to establish the focal point of cultivating entrepreneurial ability of college students. In addition, the path of cultivating college students’entrepreneurial ability should be established under the background of“mass entrepreneurship and innovation”,and the theoretical support for accelerating development process of Chinese“mass entrepreneurship and innovation” need to be provided.
