The national security education in universities is very important to the youth’s awareness,which directly affects the sta- bility of the country. The significance of the evaluation of national security education in universities is analyzed,and the applicability of the CIPP model in the evaluation of national security education in universities is also demonstrated. Based on the thorough analysis of the context,input,process and product of the national security education in universities,the theory model and evaluation index system of the national security education are built. It has a certain theoretical and practical significance to perfect the national security educa- tion system,optimize the education process,improve the level of education.
