Abstract:This paper starts with the analysis of the supply - side theory and the demand - side theory in the economics field,and the author thinks that both supply - side theory and demand - side theory in the economics field may also apply to the field of higher vo- cational education. The demand - side mainly focuses on the denotation construction; while the supply - side puts much emphasis on connotation construction. From the perspective of supply - side,the higher vocational education in our country still faces many practical dilemmas,such as the shortage of resources,the unbalanced development among different colleges,the low quality of talent cultiva- tion,the low effectiveness of running a school,the less integration of industry and teaching. In this paper,the author believes that the supply - side reform is the best alternative to the teaching innovation in higher vocational education in our country and puts forward teaching innovation strategy of the comprehensive supply - side reform from 5 dimensions,which are talent demand supply of indus- tries,the content supply of the vocational education courses,the accurate supply of the students’productive practice,the vocational qualification supply of the students’employment,and the life - long study supply for everyone.
